MNO 2021 (International Workshop on Metallic Nano-Objects)

Join us at the fifth International Workshop on
Metallic Nano-Objects (MNO 2021)!

Dear Colleagues,
We welcome you to the fifth International Workshop on Metallic Nano-Objects at University of Saint-Etienne from 17th to 19th of November 2021.
This multidisciplinary workshop has a limited number of places and offers to the participants the opportunity to share their recent advances in plasmonics in « single session » mode and to initiate collaborations around convivial social events. As a sponsored non-profit conference, MNO has traditionally low registration fees for academics and students, who could compete in best poster awards.
13 PhD students will be granted free registration fees to attend the conference. First come, first served (details for applying on the website).
You can download the abstract template from our website (go to ABSTRACT SUBMISSION) and submit it before September 30th to join our invited speakers on the following topics:
  • Ultrafast and nonlinear plasmonics
    • Tutorial by Natalia Del Fatti, University of Lyon, France
  • Enhanced light-matter interactions at the nanoscale
    • Invited talk by Nordin Felidj, University of Paris Diderot, France
  • Metasurfaces and nanophotonics
    • Invited talk by Thomas Zentgraf, University of Paderborn, Germany
  • Theoretical and numerical methods
    • Tutorial by Olivier Martin, Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, Switzerland
  • Nano-optics and fast electrons
    • Invited talk by Nahid Talebi, University of Kiel, Germany
  • Novel materials and technologies for plasmonics
    • Invited talk by Virginie Ponsinet, University of Bordeaux, France
  • Sensors and bio-plasmonics
    • Invited talk by Laura Na Liu, University of Stuttgart, Germany
